Wisconsin's Northwoods' Drug and Alcohol Addiction Hits All-Time High
The Northwoods of Wisconsin has an urgent need for Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) counselors. Gookomis Endaad - or grandmother's house in Ojibwe - serves the tribal community of Lac du Flambeau and surrounding communities, just west of Minocqua, which are struggling with rising levels of addiction.

With 18 beds, Gookomis Endaad is a place where you can make a difference in a relaxed, home-like setting. Where you can provide personalized, intimate care. Where you can balance caring for people with caring for yourself. Where you work in a family-like setting with co-workers who support each other and help others strive for excellence while saving lives and bettering futures.
